1-9-90

Another thing I learned from the conference is the 1-9-90 rule. It works like this, if you post something to facebook/blog/twitter, 1% of the people do the posting. 9% comment. and the other 90% are lurkers. In some environments, it is more like .01, .09, 99.9. His point was that a small percent of the people affect everyone else.

Another fact, pictures are 8.5 times more engaging than just text.
