Keeping up appearances

I know what you are doing...

I took Ari to Primary with me today, as I had to teach. As I saw my little neighborhood gal in the hallway, she said, "I know what you are doing! You are having a live nativity scene." I told her that would have been a great idea. So cute.

There is nothing like tending a baby to make you see life through new eyes.

She is a mover! She can find any electrical cord in the room.

In the tub, laying on her back she will twist to the side so she can drink the bathwater. I've explained that this is not a good thing to do, but she just ignores me.

The cutest trick, however, happened yesterday. Steve had been gone for the morning taking his Mom to her hair appointment and grocery shopping. When he got home, I gave Ari to him. I reached for her, and she leaned to come to me - like she wanted me to take her. To see if this is really what she was saying, we had Steve offer to take her. She turned from him and snuggled into me. So cute! I guess that will teach Steve to leave for a whole morning.

I loved Steve's face as he is feeding Ari.

She is fast. Nothing escapes her. She was to that remote like a pro.

When she found herself in the mirror, she was so excited.
